Welcome in Collepietra in South Tyrol

The grape-vines in Collepietra in the holiday region Catinaccio–Latemar

Collepietra – called Steinegg in German – is a pearl amidst the holiday region Catinaccio-Latemar.

A desolated mountain scenery, ample fields, picture-perfect woods and spectacular earth pyramids are by far not everything this tiny mountain village in the municipality Cornedo has to offer. Besides numerous opportunities to go hiking or to simply relax, you can expect a wide range of cultural sights or visit music events which will cast a spell over you.

The top three highlights are the castle of Cornedo which is one of South Tyrol’s most beautiful fortifications, the multicultural festival “Steinegg Live” as well as the museum of local history.

While friends of astronomy can observe shiny heavenly bodies in the observatory “Max Valier”, epicures can let themselves be pampered in a hotel or a cosy holiday flat during their stay in Collepietra.
